Xiaomi has announced a new line of Phablets under the Mi Note series. The Mi Note and Mi Note Pro come with some impressive specs and priced aggressively as well. More details inside.
As many of us were expecting Xiaomi to announce their next flagship, the Mi 5, the Chinese Apple has instead announced their new flagship series, the Mi Note which is basically a phablet taking on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. At a gala event in Beijing, Xiaomi announced the new Mi Note and Mi Note Pro in its trademark style.

Both the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro come with 5.7-inch display. While the Mi Note carries a 1080p Full HD screen, the Mi Note Pro comes with a 2K (Quad HD) display. The Mi Note is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3GB of RAM, while the Mi Note Pro carries the latest 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of RAM. Both devices carry 3D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3, dual 4G connectivity, Sony 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture with OIS, 4MP front camera, Hi_Fi audio system and 3000 mAh battery with Quick charge 2.0 support.
The Mi Note has been priced at ¥2299 (16GB) and ¥2799 (64GB) which translates to approximately $370 and $450 respectively. The Mi Note Pro comes in a single 64GB variant and is priced at ¥3299
